[@reflectant] If you’re looking for that post-doctrinal, post-modern neophyte Disciples of Christ pastor who thinks your traditional religion is post-mortem, you need look no further. Rocking a Chicago hockey jersey and a self-satisfied bobo smirk, Nick is busily dismantling the rotting edifice of Christendom and replacing it with copies of Relevant Magazine and books with the word “Toward” in the title while serving Broadway Christian Church in Columbia, Missouri. His influences include George MacDonald, Donald Miller, Davina C. Lopez, the wisdom of Quaker spirituality, Vernon White, Jürgen Moltmann, OK GO, and settling arguments by way of rock, paper, scissors, lizard + Spock. In his spare time, he worships the pale box training in art of the Assassin’s Creed – a big step up from needlessly studying extra dead languages in seminary. On Tuesdays, while walking his two dogs, he likes to use his powers as Master of Divinity to battle the machinations of evangelical theologian Mumm-Ra. You can find him as one of the fools over at Two Friars and a Fool.
