Beloved #unco11 family,
One of my favorite things about social media is the visual story of others mundane lives than can accompany mine. With technology arrives the photographes, quotes and life that surrounds us. This has brought me closer to many and offer me a deeper understanding of the world in which others live.
I love seeing the silly things that others encounter on their way to fun destinations, doctor appointments or other “normal” moments. It is an honor to witness life from others eyes.
It is one of the greatest things I have witnessed for this time, in this culture. We document and share damn near everything. I wonder what this says of the divine in our life.

Has the divine become more visible? Perhaps. I think the divine is on the tip of the tongue and near those quiet and not so quiet moments. The divine is just there below the surface of life, waiting to be revealed and shared in community.
With this in mind I propose a project that is to span this blog, your blogs, twitter, facebook and other social media. I ask that you document your life leading up to #unco11, your life & travels to #unco11 & #unco11 itself. It is my hope to document and share as much of this next week or so with as many people as we can.
To our family that cannot be present at #unco11. We want you to share with us what you are doing and living as well. Please document your lives with us and share as you are able.
I hope to take this moment in time and share our hopes, dreams, joys, sorrows, love, hardship and lives with each other and those that cannot physically be present at #unco11 and those that are present at #unco11
I do ask that you ask others before you document their presence in your life. I am not condoning an invasive presence. Rather, I hope to we might grow in inclusion and share the beauty of life, the beauty of our life with others so that this fearfully and wonderfully made creation is revealed and that compassion, grace, mercy and love found in community overtake the darkness of isolation.
On twitter please continue to use #unco11
On face book please post to the UNCO page.
